This CD got dropped in the deck on Friday nite & the finest female that I know was there & well,
let's just say, that the CD did what it was supposed to do!! No more review
needed - THE END!!
Nah, I'm bullsh***in, here's the rest of the review.
'Seattle's finest' is back with another nnniiiccceee slow jam CD. Lemme ask u a
question. How many DJs do you know that drop blends & remixes on slow jam mixtapes? I can answer
that - not many! TopSpin throws in a couple of his own remixes & blends on this CD. He
doesn't overdo it with the remixes & blends. He drops them in very tastefully which is a must to keep a slow
jam mix CD moving properly. I do gotta say that track #4 (702's 'I
Still Love You) kinda bothered me at first but after listening to the CD a couple of times it has become one of my favorites,
it's a different kind of track (strong drums, like the Clipse's
'Grinding') but it's cool. Lemme put it down like this - DJs can make a hot slow jam CD just by putting some of the best slow jams of all time on a CD but that is the easy way. TopSpin puts work into his song selection cuz he
doesn't use the most well known songs but the songs that he does use r what I call
"GOOD MUSIC". They r tracks that will not get played out thru over saturation of the radio.
It's time for people to stand up & take notice of this DJ. Every mixtape that I have gotten from him has been on point & he continues that tradition on this release. He is droppin a blends CD soon &
I'm anxious to see what signature TopSpin blends that will offer. Check DJ TopSpin out at www.topsyte.com & support a DJ that is really putting in work. Try one of his R&B doubles for starters.
