out of = COP IT!

Velour Vibes is the title of this double CD & it totally describes the feeling that u will experience thru the 40+ tracks of "CLASSIC / NEO / CONTEMPORARY / HIP-HOP - SOUL" smoothness. TopSpin does his THING on this tape! The music is mixed & if it is not mixed, he PROPERLY uses the fade in / out technique. He truly reps his city & does what a DJ should do - he gives shine to one of the local artists from the city he reps, Seattle. There is a nice blend of "Friends" by Whodini & "If I was Your Girlfriend" by Prince that DJ Vitamin D laid down & TopSpin gives him the spotlight too, instead of stealing the blend like most DJs seem to do in today's dog-eat-dog world.  Now TopSpin throws a couple of HOT BLENDS & CUSTOM SIGNATURE REMIXES of his own on the tape too. You gotta check the "Seven Days" blend with Craig David, Mos Def, Nate Dogg & LL. Also, the TopSpin remixes of "Be Happy" & "Ooh!" from Mary J. Blige with unreleased Jay Dee (Slum Village /  Tribe Called Quest / Busta Rhymes / Jaylib / Common producer) beats & his "What's A Man To Do" Dave Hollister remix are definitely on point. Now I've seen banners stamped on a lot of mixtapes that say "NO TALKING" but DJs can & SHOULD talk on their tapes if their mic game adds flava to the tape or compliments the overall cohesiveness. TopSpin verbalizes properly on this joint. He doesn't talk too much or too little & he doesn't try to make the CD all about him & promoting his name - this CD is ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC. Now like I said, TopSpin rests in Seattle & that compares to playing ball for the Milwaukee Bucks - nobody will ever hear of you. This cat deserves to have people stand up & take notice.
